Jamieson, Harrison, Meiswinkle 2018 “9/11 Grand Jury Investigation” LPTV Version

This weekend the annual Left Forum symposium will be held in NYC. The theme is “A New Strategy For the Left” The mission of Left Forum is to build solidarity among people and foster an intersectional movement towards global emancipation, and for people to connect and become radical problem solvers who are committed to change.

How appropriate it will be that there will be a lawyers panel entitled “Petition for Grand Jury Investigation Into the Crimes of 9/11”. This is scheduled for Saturday, June 2nd, from 12 noon to 1:50 pm EST and will be livestreamed. For the first time, an audience that could be considered progressive or liberal will be exposed to an aspect of 9/11 research that so far has been avoided.

But we are officially in a new era of advocacy for 9/11 justice. A petition for a federal Grand Jury investigation was submitted to the District Attorney in the Southern District of NY federal court on April 10th. This legal action is a culmination of 3 years of research and strategizing by the Lawyers' Committee for 9/11 Inquiry, a non-profit public interest law group.

In essence, they are presenting information that meets the required standards of scientific rigor and criteria to be considered as evidence in a legal action. The basic premise is that the government had a duty to include this information in prior investigations, failed to do so, and with this 54-page petition accompanied by 57 exhibits, our justice system now has a responsibility to review this compilation of evidence and to pursue justice.

Please join me, Les Jamieson, and attorneys, Mick Harrison, Dave Meiswinkle, and Julio Gomez for this historic presentation through our live stream.
